Paintbox Debuts Olympics-Inspired Press-On Nails

Ralph Lauren’s Olympic style is serving as beauty inspiration this year.

Fresh off the holidays—when “Ralph Lauren Christmas” was the trend of the season—the designer is once again front and center at the 2026 Winter Olympics, dressing Team USA’s Olympic and Paralympic athletes for the games opening today in Milan.

But the Ralph Lauren Olympics moment doesn’t stop at apparel. Evelyn Lim, chief educator at MiniLuxe’s Paintbox studio in SoHo, has designed a set of custom press-on nails just for the occasion, inspired by Ralph Lauren’s Olympic sweater designs from the past four Winter Games.

“I was inspired by Ralph Lauren’s Olympic opening and closing ceremony uniforms as they have always embodied confidence, pride and that unmistakable feeling of arrival and this set channels that same energy,” says Lim. “I incorporated clean lines, heritage motifs and patriotic hues that come together in a design that feels both celebratory and iconic.”

There’s still time to get your Team USA–approved manicure ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics closing ceremony on February 22. Fans in New York City and Boston can bring Lim’s patriotic designs—easy to swap and save for future occasions like the Fourth of July—to Paintbox studios for in-person consultations and fittings. Virtual appointments are also available, allowing clients to collaborate with the designer on a custom set that can be shipped nationwide.
