Life looks a little different these days for The Real Housewives of New York’s Erin Lichy—and she’ll be the first to tell you it’s in the best way possible. Baby number four just arrived. Her agave-based spirits brand, Mezcalum, is heating up. And she recently moved into a townhouse that finally gives her the one thing she hasn’t had in years: breathing room.
The setup helps: a separate apartment in the building now doubles as her Mezcalum office. “I can work from home without running all over the city,” she says. “With another child, every minute matters. Gaining back that commuting time has honestly made life a lot easier.”
And even with everything shifting around her, Lichy still perks up the second the conversation moves to beauty. She recently fell head-first into a new obsession: A tinted serum she describes as a total revelation. “My makeup artist gave me this product from OGEE. I had never used it before,” she says. “I don’t really wear foundation, but this feels like a serum with coverage. I’m obsessed.” Another recent favorite came from a L’Oréal event she attended for the drugstore brand’s Duo Serum. “I love it so much, I am using it all over my body,” she says.
Injectables, too, have become part of her wellness rhythm, especially Xeomin, a neurotoxin option she says fits her preferences perfectly. “I don’t love that overly stiff look,” she explains. “Because I’m on television, I like seeing my expressions. Xeomin feels natural and refreshing—never heavy or frozen.” She laughs as she admits that the benefits go beyond the camera. “Whenever I get injections right before a vacation, the combination of the sun and the ‘tox is unreal. I barely wear makeup those first couple of weeks.”
And then there’s BravoCon—still the talk of the Bravo universe (and beyond) long after the lights have shut off in Vegas. Lichy feels energized by the momentum. “It’s such an exciting time to be part of Bravo,” she says. “When Housewives first started, it was a totally different world. Now, the fandom is so strong and appreciative. Interacting with fans, especially at our Mezcalum booth, was amazing. People were freaking out in the best way, and the feedback was just incredible.”
For now, though, Lichy’s is craving something far less chaotic: quiet time. After a nonstop stretch capped by a book launch, she’s counting down to escaping east for the Thanksgiving holiday. “I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to getting the hell out of here!” she says with a laugh. “I just want to disconnect.”
But even that comes with its own brand of Lichy-style unpredictability. “I thought I would have two calm days, and then an investor dinner popped onto my calendar. And my husband just told me someone who wants to invest in Mezcalum is coming by Friday—with oysters—to shuck for us. I’m like, ‘What?’ Never a dull moment.”
